You can use products to run specific campaigns for specific products or services that the brand offers. This can be good for new product launches, seasonal campaigns or A/B testing the impact of your campaigns by tracking the engagement specific products get.
Each product can have multiple jobs assigned to it. This means you can target niche segments of your target customer base with different campaigns around the same product.
Step 1: Navigate to the Products tab on the left sidebar
Step 2: Select 'Add New Product'
Step 3: Fill in the Basic Information and select subcategories
These subcategories will be limited to the primary and secondary categories which you selected when creating your brand.
Step 4: Upload and add product details
We recommend you upload at least 3 images of the product, if it's a service, use any images that relate to your service or images of you delivering it. As you upload these images, the preview on the right-hand side of the screen will populate to showcase how this will appear on our mobile app, where the influencers will interact with the product, brand and campaign.
In terms of a description, add anything descriptive that you feel will help creators understand the product better. This means not just an actual description of the product but also its 'why'. Why have you brought it to market, what is it good for, which problems does it solve and for who?
Step 5: Supporting Documentation, Original Product Price and Product Variants
Supporting Documentation is optional; it is often useful for food and drink brands, licensed products and some others to provide documentation around ingredients, allergens and Terms & Conditions.
You will need to add an original product price, even though the influencers are getting the product or service for free as part of the job. If the service or product is actually free to the regular consumer, please put 0 in this field.
Variants are also optional; if your product only comes in one option, click 'No Variants'. If you offer something in multiple sizes, colours, flavours or any other variants, you can add variants and their SKU numbers.
Step 6: Select a Shipping Option and Upload Product
Shipping Options are one of the efficiency-maximising features Sway Me Good offers. The aim here is to reduce the amount of time you spend copying and pasting addresses, liaising with creators and organising pick-ups.
Select Self-Fulfilment and SMG-Assisted Shipping if you'd like us to provide a label for you to print off, stick on a box and arrange pick-up or drop-off with our partner, Evri.
Select Self-Handling, Self-Fulfilment, Self-Shipping if you are already working with influencers and have already designed an efficient system for getting products out to creators with no hassle.
Select SMG Fulfilment Services with Shipping if you are working at high volumes. For an additional cost, this option requires you to bulk send Sway Me Good your products for us to warehouse, box and ship to influencers each time you accept a creator onto your campaign.
Select Creator Arranges Pickup/Purchase if you'd like the influencer to go out and acquire the product by pre-arranged pick up or purchasing it. This is good for content styles which showcase where consumers can go to get your product.
Select Service if you offer a service.
Once you have finished, click on 'Upload Product' or you can save your draft and come back to it later.
