Jobs on the Sway Me Good platform are how your campaign briefs become visible to the thousands of creators on our mobile app. Once you have listed a job, creators can read the brief, set their price and apply to be a part of the campaign. This article and the video above are step-by-step guides to listing a job.
Step 1: Navigate to the 'Create a New Job Page'
Select the 'Jobs' tab on the left-hand sidebar and then select 'Create a New Job' on the right of the screen.
Step 2: Basic Information
Select the brand and product this job relates you and then choose a name for the job.
Step 3: Job Timeline
This is the time when the job will be live and listed on the Sway Me Good Platform; when it will be open for new applications. This is NOT the timeline by which you can expect creators to post.
You can set jobs to go live from the day you publish or schedule them in advance for new product launches and seasonal campaigns. Don't worry, you can always edit the timeline to extend the window, bring it forward or push it back.
Step 4: Influencer Preferences
This is where you can narrow down your influencer preferences. The niche will already be targeted through the brand and product categorisations you set up earlier. Here you can choose age, minimum follower count, location and gender settings as well as select price ranges to set expectations with any creators looking at the job that you are planning on paying a certain fee range per post.
Step 5: Target Audience
Here, you can stipulate the kind of follower base you are looking to target with each influencer you work with.
Step 6: Content Preference
Select which platform and format you would like influencers to post on/in. This will limit visibility to those creators who have connected to the relevant platform. Creators can connect both TikTok and Instagram to their profiles; this will allow them to apply to both types of jobs.
Step 7: Media
Upload example screenshots of the content styles you are looking to see with the content influencers will create for you. For example, if you would like the 'GRWM' style in portrait with captions, find a good example of this and upload it so your influencers know exactly what you want. As you upload images, they will preview on the right so you can see how these will look on our mobile app for influencers looking at the job.
Step 8: More About the Job
Write a description of the content you'd like, what it is meant to achieve, and who it is meant to target. The more detailed the better. You can either be very prescriptive in asking creators to post a very specific piece of content or explain the content objectives to them and give them more creative freedom to succeed with their audiences.
Do & Don't - this part of the brief is very important. It enables you to give a certain level of flexibility without compromising on non-negotiable red lines. You can use these fields to type whatever you want, requiring any creator who applies to the job successfully to adhere to these guidelines.
Step 9: Hashtags, Budget Size & Publication
Finally, add any hashtags you want creators to post with the content (#ad is already pre-populated so you can stay compliant with ASA guidelines); you can use any hashtags you want including those that are unique to your brand.
After that, set the budget size of the whole job, this will notify you when you are close to reaching the upper limits of this spend and also inform the Sway Me Good algorithm on how many influencer applicants to push for. The system typically delivers 3-4 times the amount of budget in applications. If this slows down, you can accept or reject applicants to kick the system back into gear!
Purchase Order Numbers are optional and used by many of our clients to track the finances around specific jobs on invoicing.
Once you are ready, click 'Create Job' and the job will publish on our network on the start date you selected in the timeline section at the top. As always you can 'Save as Draft' and work on this across multiple sessions.
